Sales Pipeline

See every deal’s next move.

Every deal has a stage, an amount, an owner and a dated next task. Managers see where work is stuck, and every move is recorded.

Why it matters

When stages are fuzzy, deals stall quietly.

In an agency or high-ticket service business, a proposal can sit for two weeks because nobody owns the follow-up. One person calls it “negotiation”, another calls it “waiting”.

A shared pipeline defines each stage, shows who owns each deal and what happens next, so the whole team reads the board the same way.

Interface and key controls

See the details that keep work moving.

Select a deal, then move it with the buttons. Moving a deal to Won needs a manager’s approval, and every move is added to the history.

Business scenario

A practical day in the business.

Northbeam Creative in Chicago, IL sells websites, brand work and retainers. Two account leads share one pipeline; sales manager Gregory Hale reviews it every Monday.

  • Mon 9:00 AM — Gregory filters by Proposal: Lakeshore Dental has had no next task for 6 days.
  • 9:10 AM — Nathan Cole sets “Review proposal with client · Oct 17”.
  • Thu 3:40 PM — Midway Auto Group signs. Erica Vaughn moves it to Won; it waits for approval.
  • 4:05 PM — Gregory approves. The move, approver and time are saved in the deal history.

Business scenarios and exceptions

Designed for real-world exceptions.

Deals can be moved by drag and drop or with keyboard-friendly buttons. Some moves need permission, and every change is kept in an auditable history.

MovedThe deal changes stage, the next task is created and the move is logged with who made it and when.
Needs approvalMoves you choose, such as Won or a large discount, wait for a manager. The deal shows who it is waiting on.
Not permittedThe user’s role can’t make this move. The card stays where it is and the reason is shown.
