Target WCAG 2.2 AA for public pages and core UI, including keyboard access, non-color-only states, accessible forms, focus visible, alt text, responsive reflow, reduced motion, screen reader support, print styles and alternatives. Publish observed testing results and remediation contact rather than claim certification.
Noxtill aims to design its public website and core product interfaces with WCAG 2.2 AA as the product target. The U.S. Department of Justice identifies WCAG as helpful technical guidance for web accessibility. Noxtill should not claim conformance until the relevant release has been audited.
Product requirements include:
- keyboard navigation and visible focus indicators;
- semantic headings and landmarks;
- accessible names and form labels;
- understandable validation and error identification;
- accessible tables and dialogs;
- status not conveyed by color alone;
- adequate text/background contrast;
- zoom/responsive support;
- alternative text for meaningful imagery; and
- captions/transcripts for product-demo media where feasible.
Accessibility barriers should be reportable through support@noxtill.com or an accessibility form. Ask for page/feature, task attempted and optional assistive-technology/browser details. Do not require unnecessary health information.
Noxtill should acknowledge reports and provide a reasonable remediation or alternative access route where feasible.
